Hello there Sound Queen!

Thanks for clicking the button and being curious about building a brand new business that you can run along side your freelance work, with just a lap top, or even on your phone.

Now, some of you will already know me as a sound engineer in the music, events or TV industries, where I’ve been working for the past 35 years.

As a freelancer , I know how financially tricky it can get between jobs - juggling cashflow and late payments, living on credit cards, and always playing catch up. 

Which is why I started looking for a business I could run,  which wasn’t going to interfere with the freelance work, but could supplement my income in times of need (by the way, if you're fully employed, this will also work for you of course!)

So I’ve decided to run some beginners workshops to help fellow freelancers just like you, build a second income stream , because even though we love our jobs, sometimes there are gaps in our calendars, or we get ill, or have to turn down work to look after family members. And let’s face it. These times are STRESSFULL.

Like many of you, I didn’t have a safety net - I’d burned through savings after becoming a single parent, and one day, my number one client at the time, dropped me simply because of a change in management.

That was a huge wake up call for me, because I suddenly realised that no job was safe, the world COULD change in an instant, and even though I  didn’t want to leave the industry I loved, I needed an income source that I was in control of.

THIS is when I discovered how to build online stores.

These types of stores can be up and running within hours, and can generate income all year round - whatever the economic situation.

During the first two weeks of lockdown for instance,  one of my stores generated over £42.000 in sales (and no, it had nothing to do with selling PPE!)

The best thing is, that I generate sales all year round without touching a single item I sell - I don’t own any stock, employ any staff, or have any overheads to worry about.
